How to safely store your shearing clipper

At last the shearing season is over and the animals are parading around in their new outfits ready to start a new good quality growth for the next year. The yield from the shearing is packed and ready for the market. The area around the shearing operation is getting cleared and it is time to store our equipment until next year.

The storing procedure for the Shearing Handpiece is not much different from what was done during the shearing period with the exception that we will pack it safely for 12 months. It is recommended that all debris and dirt is removed and care must be taken that the vent area of the Shearing Handpiece is especially clear of any obstructions. The use of a small brush is great for brushing these items from the Shearing Handpiece before wiping the surface area of the equipment completely. The next easy routine should leave your equipment ready and serviceable for the next season.

Start by cleaning the cord from source to where it enters the Shearing Handpiece and pay extra care looking for cuts that could become a potential hazard. Bends and other damage should be located and if needed replaced or repaired. Remove the cutters and comb by loosening the screws holding them in place. Oil them on both sides which will prevent the formation of rust while in storage. The Shearing Handpiece should be held and oil poured down the front of it to ensure that the post and cup is sufficiently oiled. Oil should drip out the unit when you oil the giggle pin and the rest of the moving parts of the Shearing Handpiece. Loosen the tension adjuster and apply adequate grease into the sleeve from rust prevention and protection. Tighten the nut and wipe the complete unit down with a clean cloth.

Once all this is down open the packing case supplied with the unit, replace the manual into its slot. The comb and cutter of the Shearing Handpiece is left with some oil on their surface and placed into the slot provided. Carefully wind the cord of the unit and place in the carry case. Your unit is now ready for the next season and well-oiled to protect the equipment parts against environmental threats. Packing the equipment in its original case ensure that nothing is misplaced or lost.

Equipment well oil and cleaned before being packed away will ensure that the farmer can be assured of equipment ready to use and this will take the stress away when preparing to start a shearing season without knowing what the state of his equipment is. The preparation will also ensure a product that will years of service before needing replacement or repairs.

Find Cheap Electric Fence energizer for your farming option

An electric fence energizer is a device that sends an electric pulse through whichever electric fence it has been connected to at the time. This is useful for two main reasons. First, electric farm fencing equipment is used to control the animals that are kept as livestock. It ensures that they can be contained within the desired area much more effectively than when using any other fencing solution.

Second, it is used to keep predators which are in the surrounding environment at bay. It delivers a shock to these animals that will ensure that they cease and desist from trying to attack your livestock. Furthermore, the best part is that once the predators learn that they will get shocked if they touch the fence, they will retain this information for a long time.

It is therefore important to invest in an electric fence energizer. The next issue to address is how to acquire this device at a low cost effective price while ensuring that you get the best device possible.

Solar electric fence energizers

The best solution that you can get for your farm fencing equipment is the solar electric fence energizer. This device uses the abundant energy supply that is provided freely by the sun instead of using mains power supply which can be costly and also unreliable. This energizer has a movable solar panel that ensures that it can be moved to the position where it would most efficiently harvest the sun’s energy. It has two holes in its back that enable it to be fastened to a star post or other post used in fencing.

The solar electric fence energizer is a high quality but low cost device for use in electrifying farm fencing. The device is not only affordable but is guaranteed to lower the overheads on your farm. This is because when in use it will permanently eliminate the cost of using mains energy from your farm.

The solar electric fence energizer comes with a readily charged battery out of the box so that you can use it. The battery can be replaced with a charged one where you have access to another one. This will be unnecessary, as the solar panel will charge the battery fully as the sun provides power. The battery takes three days to charge but will last for twenty one days without access to sunlight.

Benefits of solar electric fence energizer
The solar electric fence energizer is not only a cheap but high quality device it provides its users with other benefits. The device is quite sturdy as it has been built and tested to withstand the prevailing climate conditions in Australia. Furthermore, this device is easily portable to the paddock where it is needed. Lastly, the solar electric fence energizer is reliable as there are no power outages when using it.

A well maintained fencing is less likely to cause you problems. We all know how much responsibility a farm involves and how much satisfaction it can bring at the same time. Every now and then, farmers have to invest time and money in choosing farm fencing equipment, either to start building a fence from scratch, or renew some items belonging to the old fencing system.

A professional fencing company can usually provide you with everything you need in terms of fencing equipment. From star steel post picket drivers to farm electric fence spring gate handles and wire ratchet strainers, you can find an extensive range of fencing products on the Internet. If you are not confident enough to buy your farm fencing equipment online, then all you have to do is double check the testimonials available on the website that you are planning to use as your fencing equipment provider. Once you’ll see that other people in Australia have had a pleasant experience with the company, you can rest assured that you won’t make an exception. Companies like Shearing and Fencing have established a good reputation thanks to their high quality products and the professional services that they provide.

There is a wide range of farm fencing equipment available online for you to choose from. From the comfort of your own home, all you have to do is decide which fencing equipment suits your needs the best and then place an order. Once you get the products, you can choose whether to call an expert or do the job yourself. Although fencing designs might vary, most fences consist of the same elements, so if you have built a fence before, you most definitely know how to do it again.

Before choosing your farm fencing equipment, make sure this is appropriate to your farm layout and the livestock that it hosts. Usually, horses need a different type of fencing that sheep do, so always keep that in mind.

Finally, remember that a high quality fencing equipment won’t necessarily cost you twice as much, but it will definitely last longer.
